A rare item, virtually unknown on the collectors' market until now. We offered the first piece from this issue at our previous auction—a 1953 $10 bill (A29/7081) that sold for 600 zł. In this auction, we are offering three other denominations/issues, including this piece.
Centrally on the obverse is the Polish eagle based on the pre-war design, flanked by the inscription “SKARB NARODOWY” on a ribbon.
On the reverse is a powerful slogan calling for independence: “Your donation will contribute to the liberation of POLAND from the yoke of Russian communism.”
