Cardinal K. Wojtyła and the pastor of the parish in Nowa Huta, Fr. J. Gorzelany, receive from Pope Paul VI a stone from the tomb of St. Peter in Rome to be used as a foundation stone for the church in Nowa Huta.

Cardinal Karol Wojtyła and Fr. Józef Gorzelany received a stone from the tomb of St. Peter from Pope Paul VI at the Vatican on December 11, 1965. It was intended to serve as the cornerstone for the construction of the Church of the Ark of the Lord (Our Lady, Queen of Poland) in Nowa Huta-Bieńczyce.
