Biography
Graduate of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She obtained her diploma in the studio of Prof. Łukasz Chmielewski. She works in painting, drawing and graphic design. Nominated for the 'Prime Stage' award at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz in 2020. She has participated in exhibitions: 'Art Naif Festival' at the Shaft and Wilson Gallery in 2021. She paints charitably for, among others, the WOŚP Foundation. Alexandra Lacheta's art is led by an animal motif. The artist renders animal silhouettes in a subtle, somewhat fairy-tale-like way. She is inspired by nature, which she depicts in both realistic and fantastic ways. She tries to make the animals depicted in her paintings evoke emotions: curiosity, sympathy and even a smile triggered by a pleasant memory or association. When painting portraits of human companions, she focuses on the animal as a living and important being. In doing so, he attempts to create a bond with the viewer to evoke empathy and reflection.
