Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She grew up in Upper Silesia and currently lives and works in Warsaw. Since childhood, in contrast to the world around her, she has been captivated by light and bold color. Her desire for an abstract escape from the working-class everyday life of communist Poland and her longing for absent color gave rise even then to images in her imagination saturated with an almost exotic clash of colors. This triggers an inner projection of millions of fleeting compositions, which the artist continues to transfer onto canvas to this day in a ceaseless process of almost compulsive creation. Her works find their way into companies, institutions, and the collections of discerning private buyers from Poland, Switzerland, Germany, and the U.S. They also regularly appear in the set designs of original interiors for both domestic and international film, television, and advertising productions.
