Perlak Krystyna born in Wola Zarczycka. She paints and annotates her paintings with poems, and sings in a choir. For 40 years she worked in a hospital as a nurse. In retirement, she is fulfilling her dreams of poetry and painting. She has painted more than 300 paintings and framed each of them with words. She has had a number of solo exhibitions and poetry evenings, and participated in seven plein air painting events. Her poems have appeared in poetry anthologies. She is a member of the Art Section of the Regional Association of Cultural Creators. She attends painting workshops at the Center for Culture and Art in Laka under the tutelage of renowned artists Maciej Sliwiak and Michal Czerko.
