A specimen of one of the rarest Polish circulation banknotes of the 20th century.
Valued especially because for many collectors it is the only chance to fill the lack in the typological collection.
This is the pattern of the 1919 10-zloty banknote as it was introduced into circulation - with its characteristic brown 10-line clause.
The pattern in the version intended for the foreign market: distinguished by the lack of perforation and printed pattern number (noticeably rarer than those for the domestic market).
The big advantage of the present piece is the preserved original presentation cardboard. We at auctions in Poland see it for the first time.
