Reviews: 17/20 (Jancis Robinson)
This wine is the offspring of a small family run business situated in Meursault. They specialize mostly in wit wine, with a greatest interest in wines from individual parcels in Meursault. The 2018 vintage was quite warm and as such it was ideal for Burgundy wines., especially wite varietals. The wine available on this auction is one of the best cuvee of this producer coming from a parcel with old vines.
This wine has quite a lot of substantial fruit (ripe peaches and pears) and floral notes, which are typical for the 2018 vintage. Yet, it is just a background for great citrus acidity and stone minerality. Truly elegant wine.
