Biography
He was a painter, stage designer and graphic artist - he did illustrations for Zdrój magazine, among others. He educated in Poznan. A breakthrough for his painting work was his stay in Paris in 1925; 3 solo exhibitions of the artist took place there - two at Galerie Bernheim - Jeune, one at the Andre Cheron gallery in Versailles. Later he participated in the exhibitions of the Plastika group, of which he was a member, and at the Poznan TPSP. His great fascination was theater - he designed theater sets. His favorite subjects of his works were city life - meetings in cafes, theaters, fashionably dressed women of the twentieth century, artistic bohemia, mainly of Paris.
