A collection consisting of vintage sewing supplies and decorative containers. The lot includes a large rectangular box in dark red lacquer, decorated on the lid with polychrome floral motifs and a bird in flight with gold details. The interior of the box contains various spools of thread—some made of wood—skeins of red and cream-colored embroidery cotton, small wooden clothespins, and tailoring tools. There is a second dark wooden box with a lid featuring deep carvings of leaf and geometric motifs. The assortment includes a wide variety of buttons made of materials such as wood, plastic, and mother-of-pearl, stored in a red circular metal box and a silver-colored metal tray. The collection also includes a selection of vintage lace, ribbons, and trimmings in shades of cream and off-white. A small circular tin box contains large flower-shaped plastic buttons in red and blue. A partially used roll of adhesive tape bears the printed 3M Scotch logo. The red circular metal box features fragmentary gold lettering along the edge, which is illegible due to wear and tear.
