A tangle of lines, intricate forms, knots and contrasts, intensely vivid colors, contrasted with shiny spots and lines of metallic paint reflecting light. This is how Anna Ksamit describes confluence in her abstract paintings. Skillfully chosen means and symbolism describe the abstract subject of human relations.
In psychology, confluence is the inability to define the boundaries of oneself in relationship with other people. It manifests itself independence on another person, Anna Ksamit addresses non-obvious, general issues in her works. One of the most important is the pursuit of unattainable inner harmony. The painter is fascinated by the inner life of people, and tries to make her paintings reflect this. These are not figurative compositions, portraits or still lifes. Her gesture painting is a study of feelings and a mechanism to get to know the world better.
