Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Diploma in 1999 in the studio of Prof. Jozef Halas, majoring in painting. Works in painting, drawing, photography and poetry. Participated in several exhibitions at home and abroad. Repeatedly awarded, among others, at the National Review of Promotions 2000, special award; Przeglad Plastyki Zagłębia Miedziowego - honorable mention. First prize for the short film "Zwitek" at the review of artistic creativity Meetings of the Young in the corridor, ASP Wrocław in 1998. He also received an honorary scholarship from the Jawor City Council in 1995 - 1998. He lives and works in Warsaw. This is what Zbigniew Libera said about Janusz Galuszko's work: "For me his paintings are images of memory. Well, there is a little boy sitting there, because Janusz, even though he is already a father, is still a little boy and remembers various images. And it's such and such a different painting, and because he is sensitive and, moreover, gifted with a good visual memory, there are many of them in his collection. A scene from "Four Armored and a Dog," from "A Stake Larger than Life" or from Bergman's "The Serpent's Egg," something from real historical events, or even something completely made up. At the same time, he paints as if hastily calling up these images from memory. So he calls them up on his inner retina and registers them quite quickly on the canvas so they don't disappear. What remains consists more of colors than details. Sometimes even, as in a dream, Janusz's paintings consist of some cut-up pieces, just a woman sitting and typing..." ("Women and Men Before the War.
