This bold and colorful mid-century Czech art glass ashtray was designed by Josef Rozinek (1911–1992) at the renowned Nový Bor Glassworks during the 1960s — a golden era of Bohemian studio glass. This ashtray is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.
Expertly handblown in a freeform organic shape, the piece features a dynamic interplay of vivid colors that catch and reflect light beautifully. The fluid form and expressive colorwork are characteristic of Rozinek’s innovative approach to glass design.
