50.96g. 46mm. UNC/UNC. An outstanding example with perfect relief details, but with some minor oxidation spots. Diakov 25.11. Obv.: Peter I, holding a field marshal's baton, depicted in armor, a cloak, and a laurel wreath, riding a galloping horse and trampling Swedish trophies. The medallist's initial 'K' to the left above the truncation. Below the truncation: REDIT Е CERTAMINE | VICTOR (Returns from battle as a victor). Rev.: Against the backdrop of the battle plan, Victory, portrayed as a winged figure, sits atop the trophies on the right. She holds a trumpet and a laurel wreath. In front of her is a shield inscribed: CAPVT | EST | A CORPORE | LONGE | OVID (The head is far from the body. Ovid). Below the truncation: DEVICTO LOWENHAVPT | CAESIS AVT САРТ. XVI • | MILL • SVEC (Levenhaupt defeated, 16,000 Swedes killed or captured). Inscription above: ɢLoʀlsᴀ VICᴛoʀIᴀ ᴀD LᴇᴇsɴᴀM • | 28 • sᴇᴘᴛ • s • ᴠ | ʟᴇᴇcɴo. The legend contains errors: 'GLORISА' and 'LEECNO' instead of 'GLORIOSА' and 'LEESNO'.
