"What seems most characteristic of Albert Lipczinski's work is a sense of observation combined with color sensitivity. The artist skillfully combined realistic views of the world with impressionistic colors, avoided narration, and did not create docuemnts of the times he lived in. He focused on color composition, subordinating it to elements of picturesqueness or moodiness - what mattered was the aesthetic effect.(...)"
