My works are in private collections in Poland and abroad (USA, Norway,
Netherlands, Germany). Pandemic caused that the exhibitions planned for spring and autumn 2020
did not take place.
I have been painting for about a decade, with a few years break for education. My work is a
reflection of my personality, temperament and experiences. I call it "landscapes of the
of the soul," and my soul is colorful, sensitive, noble, eccentric and restless.
I shun monotony and therefore my works are thematically diverse. I paint
figurative representations, but the passion for creation has also drawn me into the realms of
abstractionism, which harmonizes well with the free expression I willingly indulge in.
I create in oil and acrylic techniques on canvas, with spatulas and brushes - I am captivated by the
the texture of the paints. Sometimes I paint with watercolor paints.
In my creative work I explore my sensitivity and intuitiveness to the surrounding world,
I open myself to the play of fascination, admiration and beauty. I evaluate myself in color combinations,
which is a consequence of admiration for impressionism, post-impressionism and Polish colorism
etc., as well as contemporary colorist artists, whom I consider a source of inspiration.
I love painterly and coloristic solutions and make such attempts myself
to process the world around me. In the fever of colors that I use, there is a great
joy of creation that I experience. Strong tones and strong color contrasts speak of
my strength and persistence in pursuing my goals against the odds, and the expression and euphoria,
that overwhelm me in every creative act betray my sensitivity and intuitiveness in
feeling of the world.
The words of painter Jan Cybis are close to my heart: "You have to paint like no one - the discovery is to
be yours alone" - so I discover.
