Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1952); artistic work in painting, drawing and printmaking; participation in exhibitions at home and abroad; awards, including a silver medal and diploma as a member of the Tomasso Campanella Academy in Rome. Danuta Leszczynska-Kluza's oeuvre includes cycles of paintings "Hermitage" (1959-61), "Gardens" (1963- 70), "Events" (1971), "Universe" (1975-83), cycles of etchings, a portfolio of gouaches "Life, graphics with silk, graphics with photography and others. The artist's works are held by museums at home and abroad in Stockholm, New York, Washington, Tel-Aviv, Tokyo, Edinburgh, among others. The artist's work is characterized by a predilection for experimentation and a search for innovative forms of expression.
