Biography
Jan Podfigurny. Born in 1941 in Kuropatniki near Lviv. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. In 1968 he received a diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Dabski. Since 1968, he has regularly presented his works at national and international exhibitions. A characteristic feature of his painting is his sensitivity to the sensual qualities of the work such as color and light. The pandemic and the war in Ukraine have become one of the main sources of inspiration for the artist.
