Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under W. Weiss and F. S. Kowarski. A member of the Pryzmat group active in 1930-39, he was engaged in easel and monumental painting classified as post-impressionist trend. He painted landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
