Jan Wojciech Malik - (1951, Poznań) He studied painting at the University of Arts in Poznań. In art he follows his own path, does not imitate his masters. He creates monumental works and miniatures. His paintings are characterized by the use of gray, black with a touch of red - he depicts reality in such colors. Sometimes, however, he uses a full color palette.
Winner of many competitions and art festivals. 24 solo exhibitions of painting in Poland and participation in more than 170 exhibitions of Polish painting in Poland and abroad. Studied painting at the University of Arts in Poznań. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the Ekoart movement. Expert on art of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland. His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Poznan and Szczecin and in the Vatican.
