Biography
Born in 1951 in Warsaw, he was educated in Sulejówek and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied plastic design, painting and printmaking under the tutelage of Kazimierz Nita, Rajmund Ziemski and Halina Chrostowska, among others. He also took lessons from Jozef Szajna. About 400 of his works are in museum and private collections in twenty countries. In Oraczewski's paintings one can find attempts to redefine concepts such as relief and experiments on formal grounds.
