Katarzyna Skrobiszewska - born 1976 in Cracow, Poland.
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Graphic Arts. In 2001 she received a diploma in the studio of Professor Zbigniew Lutomski. In the academic year 1998/1999 she studied at the Faculty of Graphic Design at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. She participated in the INTERPRINT 2000 graphic design workshop in Maastricht. In 2001, she was awarded first prize in a national painting competition for students: Scandinavia - light, space, sign. At the 19th Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting, Obrazowanie, she received the ZPAP award for her painting Dimming. In 2000 she was awarded the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and in 2002 the creative scholarship of the City of Cracow.Currently, she is involved in painting and printmaking.
