Maria KOMIEROWSKA

She studied painting and drawing with A. Rychtarski in Warsaw in 1930-1933. In 1934-1935 she studied in Paris; after the war, she continued her studies at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts with F. Kowarski until 1949. She mainly painted portraits and landscapes. She exhibited her works from 1938, initially at the Institute of Art Propaganda. She often traveled to Kazimierz Dolny and painted landscapes there. Her works are in the collections of the Museum in Kazimierz Dolny and the Museum in Lublin, among others.
