DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
"Silver Relief III" is part of the structuralist period of Mikolaj Kochanowski's work, which began in the late 1960s and early 1970s, during which numerous works in the ready-made technique were created. The presented object is part of a series of silver reliefs, in which the artist included ready-made objects in arrangements based on geometric shapes of circle and square. A limited color range, a neutral gray background dusted slightly with a shade of sulfur yellow and a minimalist composition made of elements made in a variety of materials give the work a noble, timeless dimension and open unlimited possibilities of interpretation.
