Mira ANDRZEJEWSKA-KALKOWSKA

b. 1954 Gdansk

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk at the Department of Sculpture under Prof. Alfred Wisniewski. After graduating from the academy in 1980, she created mainly in granite, bronze, ceramics, and in 1991 she expanded her artistic expression to painting, which has since become her main medium. She has had solo exhibitions in Gdansk and Germany. In addition, she has participated in many group exhibitions. She has exhibited many times at home and abroad. She has also participated in plein-airs and painting symposiums. The artist's paintings and sculptures can be found in private collections in Germany, Sweden, France, Spain and the USA.
