acrylic, mixed technique/canvas, 168 x 43 cm
signed, dated and described on the back: WALDEMAR UMIASTOWSKI | 2010 |"W KAWAŁKACH" | ACRYL | MIXED TECHNIKA MIESZANA| 168 x 43 cm | mounting note

Umiastowski is attracted to experiments with the third dimension, going beyond the picture plane. The artist engages in a discussion with the very notion of a painting, with the function of "regulated abstractness" and painting matter. He analyzes the creative process and the mechanisms that condition it.
