My name is Wojciech Górski, I was born in 1971 in Zamosc. I am a graduate of the Zamosc High School of Fine Arts, which I graduated in 1991. At that time, the school specialized in conservation, so I completed my diploma in the studio of conservation of sculpture and architectural details, gaining the profession of an artist of this specialty. A neurological disorder called Tourette's Syndrome, with which I have struggled since birth, has prevented me from continuing my artistic education in higher education. This ailment can complicate life and often causes unpleasant reactions from those around you, but fate often brings compensation. From an early age I wanted to draw and paint, because I love art. I didn't give up and after graduating from high school, I studied on my own, gathered experience and perfected my craft. To the clients with whom I have successfully worked for many years, I have proven that despite the lack of a university degree, I can successfully meet their expectations. My passion lately has been metalwork and copper sculptures made using the repoussing technique. I also want to "face" other metals - this will be another important experience. Any free time outside of creating illustrations I devote to work in the forge - my workshop, where I can indulge my new passion unreservedly.
