Marble (approx. 20kg), 48 cm Dr. Marcin Mielczarek received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Since 2013, he has been working at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, currently at the Institute of Animation and Games, where he teaches classes in sculptural model creation. He is the author and co-author of a number of sculptures in the public space of Lodz, including the popular Fairy Tale Lodz series, the street sprinklers of Piotrkowska Street and the Legionary Monument. Since 2016, he has been Dean of the Faculty of Sculpture and Interactive Activities. |
