ARTIST ABOUT THE SCULPTURE:
Stillness. Stillness. These are the words that inspire. A certain activity frozen in time. This stilness, primal, intact can be found in nature. Looking at certain forms such as rocks, cliffs, which are stuck in motionlessness for many years. These shapes in their structure, construction have a powerful but silent force. They are disturbed by water, waves, sea, ocean. This common persistence of earth and water is the inclinations of my sculpture.
BIO ARTISTS:
Magdalena Berbeka comes from Zakopane.She graduated from Antoni Kenar High School of Fine Arts there. She completed her bachelor's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the Faculty of Sculpture, and her master's degree at the Faculty of Photography and Multimedia of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. She took part in several group and solo exhibitions.
