A peasant family sits at an outdoor table at a meal and is surprised by satyrs. The young couple behind the table have stood up and are looking with amusement at the young satyr, who is sitting somewhat embarrassed on the ground in front of the table. The satyr turns to the boy, who grabs his shoulder and scolds him. The girl is startled and gets up, knocking over the stool in the process. She points her mother's finger at the satyr. Another young satyr is sitting in the tree behind the table. On the left edge of the picture, two putti are playing with each other. Oil on canvas, oval, 58 × 47 cm
