Mieczysław Andrzej Wasilewski (born 1942 in Warsaw) – Polish graphic artist and university professor. From 1960 to 1966, he studied at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw; in 1966, he received his diploma from Prof. Henryk Tomaszewski’s poster studio. In 1977, he received his Ph.D., and in 1984, his postdoctoral degree; in 1991, he was awarded the academic title of professor in the field of visual arts. After Prof. Tomaszewski retired, he took over his independent Studio of Graphic Design for students of the Department of Printmaking. He worked at the Academy of Fine Arts until September 2014. From 1981 to 1982, he lectured at the University of Damascus, in 1989 at the Offenbach University of Art and Design (Germany), and from 1991 to 1992 at the Institute of Applied Arts in Rovaniemi (Finland). He taught at art colleges in Helsinki, Finland; Arnhem, Groningen, and The Hague, the Netherlands; Guadalajara, Mexico; Santiago and La Serena, Chile; and Montreal, Canada. From 1997 to 2011, he also led the printmaking and poster design studio at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. In 2011, he began working at the University of Applied Computer Science and Management in Warsaw (now WIT Academy). From 1981 to 1982, he lectured at the University of Damascus, in 1989 at the Offenbach University of Art and Design (Germany), and from 1991 to 1992 at the Institute of Applied Arts in Rovaniemi (Finland). He taught at art colleges in Helsinki, Finland; Arnhem, Groningen, and The Hague, the Netherlands; Guadalajara, Mexico; Santiago and La Serena, Chile; and Montreal, Canada. From 1997 to 2011, he also led the printmaking and poster design studio at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. In 2011, he began working at the University of Applied Computer Science and Management in Warsaw (now the WIT Academy). For many years, he collaborated with numerous publishing houses and cultural institutions, including: Wydawnictwo Artystyczno-Graficzne (WAG), PIW, Książka i Wiedza, Nasza Księgarnia, PWE, PWRiL, and Centrala Wynajmu Filmów. His graphic works appeared in magazines such as *Perspektywy* (1969–1974) and *Problemy* (1969–1994). He designed stamps, postcards, and FDC envelopes for Poczta Polska.
