Urbain Huchet was a French artist known for his modernist seascapes, landscapes, figurative works, and genre paintings. His distinctive use of color and form stems from French Impressionism. Huchet follows in the footsteps of Gauguin and Émile Bernard, who had a profound influence on him. Many of his paintings are inspired by marketplaces, people, and landscapes that have become world-renowned.
