Francois Boucher - French painter working in the decorative Rococo style. His compositions decorated many everyday objects such as tapestries, porcelain, etc. He was particularly fond of painting idealized landscapes, shepherds and shepherdesses in silk costumes, acting out scenes of erotic and sentimental love.
