Japanese colored woodblock print (ukiyo-e), depicting the fox spirit character Tadanobu from the famous kabuki drama "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura" (義経千本桜, "Yoshitsune and a Thousand Cherry Blossoms"). The woodblock print depicts a dramatic actor's portrait (yakusha-e) in a rich costume with distinctive blue and black drawing. The fox spirit is depicted in the upper part of the composition.
