Two old men, leaning towards each other, look at each other questioningly in a moment. The frowning character heads have a great depth effect in the dark interior - the room is only defined by the cut columns.
Dario Succi clearly assigns them to Francesco Zugno and dates them to around 1760. At this time, Zugno was particularly interested in the characterization of the figures, which he created with great care and cleverly used means such as the lively, silvery tones, implemented. Oil on canvas, 76x60cm.
