Kazimierz Pulaski(1861-1947)
The Harvest(1895) sign.dat.l.d. Kazimierz Pulaski / Warsaw 95
oil, canvas, 52.00 x 78.00 cm
Kazimierz Pulaski is an intriguing artist whose paintings very rarely appear on the art market.
He was the cousin of Wojciech Kossak and spent part of his childhood with the Kossaks in Krakow.
In 1895 Wojciech Kossak engaged him in Berlin to help with a panorama of Berezina.
The painting "Harvest" was created in the same year, possibly during a vacation. Pulaski later
supported Wojciech Kossak in painting more panoramas and smaller compositions.
