Painter associated with Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny. Colorist. Studied initially at the Lublin branch of the Free School of Painting and Drawing of Ludwika Mehoffer, and then in Cracow (with Z. Pronaszko). President of the Association of Visual Artists in Lublin (since 1936). During the war he taught at the Fachschule in Lublin. Lecturer at the High School of Visual Arts in Lublin - organizer of plein-air painting workshops for students of the school in Kazimierz, where he settled in 1969. He combined color values with sophistication of form, inspired by the work of Z. Pronaszko.
