An elegant clear-glass decanter in a richly decorated, openwork metal frame. Decorated with traditional Chinese symbols of good fortune, as well as motifs of birds, lotuses, and the infinity knot. Stylized stopper with a copper finish.
A decorative carafe in the Chinese style, likely from the first half of the 20th century.
The body is made of clear glass with a flattened, oval shape, encased in a richly ornamented, openwork metal frame.
The decoration features motifs characteristic of Far Eastern art: the infinity knot, lotus flowers, birds, a vessel, and a symbolic circle. The ornaments are connected by a network of stylized branches and plant tendrils.
The neck is enclosed by a metal frame and topped with a stopper featuring a decorative, pointed handle with a copper finish.
Height: approx. 28 cm.
Condition: natural patina, localized scuffs, discoloration, and signs of wear on the metal frame. The condition of the glass and stopper is shown in the photographs.
