Rudolf Priebe (Szulakowo in the former Kiev Governorate, 1889–1956, Rudolfstadt), a German marine painter and portraitist—he began his studies in painting at the School of Art in Wrocław under Professors Arnold Busch and Eduard Kaempffer. He then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Ludwig Herterich. He lived and worked in Hamburg.
