lead/tin
An extremely rare military convoy drawn by four horses, consisting of a wagon with two Prussian soldiers seated on the box and two mounted on horseback.
They wear late 19th-century military uniforms—blue with green trim—and studded helmets. The soldiers are equipped with accessories, such as sabers and a whip for controlling the horses, all cast in tin/lead.
The wagon is made of hand-painted tin, marked “MARKLIN CiE” on the bottom, with lead spoked wheels.
The soldiers and horses are made of die-cast lead and hand-painted.
The entire train measures approximately 25 cm. In excellent condition.
