In very good condition. An album of black-and-white photographs from various productions of Tadeusz Kantor’s Cricot 2 theater: *The Dead Class*, *Wielopole, Wielopole*, *Let the Artists Perish*, *I Will Never Return Here Again*, and *Today Is My Birthday*.
The Cricoteka website states: “Maurizio Buscarino—one of the most renowned Italian photographers associated with the world of European, American, and Asian theater. He has documented the work of Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Grotowski, Eimuntas Nekrošius, Odin Teatret, Japanese bunraku theater, and performances created by prisoners [...]. In 1978, he became acquainted with Tadeusz Kantor’s work and from that point on accompanied the director in his final stage productions. A shared understanding of art led to the documentation of Cricot 2 becoming a central part of Maurizio Buscarino’s photographic work [...]. Maurizio Buscarino is one of the few photographers whom Tadeusz Kantor allowed to be present during Cricot 2’s rehearsals and performances. Buscarino was also among the select group of professionals whom the artist personally asked to take photographs, holding their work in particularly high regard."
