Facsimile of the Berlin Book of Hours of Mary of Burgundy and Emperor Maximilian
2-pcs, consisting of facsimile and commentary volume, 1999, CORON Verlag, 1 of 980 copies, 10 x 7 cm book dimensions, 724 richly decorated pages, 7 full-page miniatures, 16 ornamental pages and 47 larger and smaller miniatures, red silk binding with partially gilded, decorative sterling silver clasp, 3-page gilt edging, numbered 507/980, minimal rubbing in places, original leather box and velvet slipcase enclosed. The original was created between 1477 and 1482 and is thus one of the earliest works of art of 'Burgundian book illumination'. Today, the manuscript is kept as 78 B 12 in the Kupferstichkabinett of the Staatliche Museen und Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin.
