GZPW WP—an institution subordinate to the communist Ministry of National Defense. One of a series of training materials used for the ideological indoctrination of soldiers fighting in the People’s Army of Poland.
At the bottom of the front cover, an explanation of the contents: “This glossary covers the most important towns and cities of Silesia, Western Pomerania, and East Prussia. Thanks to the heroic struggle of the Red Army and the Polish Army, these lands will return to the Motherland. The figures regarding the Polish population are based on data from before 1939.”; at the end, a propaganda slogan reads: “Under the leadership of the National Council and the Provisional Government, we will drive border posts into the Oder and the Neisse.”
