The book describes in detail the preparation, progress and behind-the-scenes of the groundbreaking aerial mission to fly over Mount Everest. In March and April 1933, a British expedition, using specially adapted Westland PV-3 and PV-6 aircraft, made a historic flight over the Himalayas, reaching altitudes in excess of 10,000 meters. This was not only a technological challenge, but also a feat of great significance for aviation and mountain exploration. The cover and graphic design were done by Atelier Girs-Barcz.
