Slawomir Mrozek (born June 29, 1930 in Borzecin, died August 15, 2013 in Nice) is a Polish writer and cartoonist. Author of satirical short stories and dramatic works with philosophical, political, moral and psychological themes. As a playwright he is counted among the current of the theater of the absurd.
