Aleksander Pawel Zatorski are a special text, because they grow out of conversations, held at magnate's courts and nobleman's manors, about the cares and joys of everyday life, happiness, love, friendship and the marital state. Thus, they are a picture of the mentality and customs of Saxon times, and show the transformation of a former monk who, already as a secular literary man, advises the youth of thenobility on how to achieve happiness in their professional and personal lives.
