Memoirs of Julian Ejsmond (1892–1930), poet, writer, and lieutenant in the Polish Army, recounting hunts in the Białowieża Forest, Rudnicka Forest, the Carpathians, Volhynian Polesia, and Cieszyn Silesia. The author’s hunting expeditions were accompanied by well-known hunters, including Włodzimierz Korsak and Stefan Krzywoszewski. Descriptions of hunts for goldeneyes, capercaillies, black grouse, ducks, deer, badgers, lynx, wild boars, and wolves. Illustrations and cover by Kamil Mackiewicz (1887–1931), a highly regarded illustrator and caricaturist. Slight discoloration on the cover, some paper wear in places, minimal loss on the front endpaper; otherwise in good condition.
