** St. Theresa's Sanatorium Female Junior High School in Rabka (1918-1939). The school functioned in the "Tereska" villa. In 1940, the St. Tereska Female Gymnasium was replaced by the German School for Security Police and Security Service Commanders, which educated future Gestapo and Kripo cadres and officers of their subordinate units. In the spring and summer of 1942, on the square in front of the school, the Germans carried out the selection of Jews before executions. Poles arrested in Rabka - members of underground organizations - were also held in Villa "Tereska." For many Poles and Jews this place was one of the last stops before death ( per https://gmina.rabka.pl/main/aktualnosci/Rabka-78-lat-pozniej-Pamietamy/idn:5003)
