Outer circumference at the level of the rivets: 65 cm
A rare, early version of the M34 helmet, used by the fire department, air defense forces, and the police. The helmet shell is painted black, with holes for attaching the crest. In this piece, the crest was not attached. Original decals are preserved on both sides—on the left in the national colors, and on the right, a partially removed early decal featuring a large swastika.
The visor is secured with four rivets. There is an ink stamp on the visor pad. Inside, on the helmet’s brim, is the mark “D.R.P. Thale K.”
Condition consistent with the photographic documentation
