Hand closed, brass frame, nickel-plated, decorated. The yoke is sigmoidal, shield-cocked. Outer shield decorated with floral ornament and panoplies. Shank of black mass, transversely fluted and entwined with filigree. The cap is long, with the bottom captured together with the shaft in the ring at the hilt, with the top riveted with the pin of the head. On the inside of the shield the signature of the company Backes W. and F. Delacour. The hilt is straight, double-edged, profiled on both sides into one wide furrow at the level of the belly. Below it, two narrow furrows extending to the symmetrical hilt. On both sills the signature of the recipient - the letter "G" surmounted by a star in an oval.
