Biography
A graduate of the Art High School in Szczecin. In 2025, she earned a Master of Arts degree, specializing in graphic design, from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Education for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic years. In 2025, she also received a scholarship from the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship for individuals engaged in artistic creation, the promotion of culture, and the preservation of historical monuments. She is the founder of the Odruch art collective, active since 2024, and collaborates regularly with the Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń. She has held three solo exhibitions and participated in over a dozen group exhibitions, including three collective shows. The artist focuses primarily on painting, a medium she has been exploring since childhood. Since her college years, she has also been creating digital posters, printmaking works, art objects, zines, and pieces combining appliqué and embroidery. The main, recurring themes in Burnat’s work are fantastical motifs bordering on the occult, existentialism, landscape, and hybrids of humans and animals.
